2025 YIL Fellows

These are young professionals who have been inducted as Y.I.L Fellows. After the four months intensive programme, they have emerged as Fellows. They are professionals in whom we have found some seeds of excellence and we are glad to offer them a platform to scale up their excellence. They were selected from across Africa through a rigorous screening process.

Abdi Majid Mohmoud Aden is a proud son of Somalia and a relentless believer in the power of change. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Puntland State University in Garowe, where his academic journey began alongside a mission to impact lives.
While still a student, he served as an English teacher at Al-Hikma Secondary School, nurturing young minds with the conviction that education is the spark of transformation. He later entered development work—first as a facilitator with TDAMUN and then as a Human Rights Educator with Y-PEER Somalia, championing marginalized communities.
A lifelong learner, he deepens his understanding of justice through courses on Human Rights Education. He founded Happier Mothers (HAMOT), which uplifts suffering women and children in Somalia through hope and healing. He is a fearless African changemaker, driven by purpose and determined to leave a legacy of empowerment, justice, and joy across Africa.

Adiisi Aduko Alfreda is a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS.D) who graduated with Second-Class Upper honors from the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana. She is an MPhil candidate in Immunology and Infectious Diseases at C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences and a Teaching Assistant mentoring young scientists.
Her journey includes roles as Project Manager at Northern Urban Jungle Farms and internships at Eye of God Laboratory, Bolgatanga Regional Hospital, and Amiah Hospital.
She founded the Black Girls Elevation Organization (Lush Mindscape), focusing on capacity building, advocacy, and mentorship for young women in science. She serves as Zonal Coordinator for IMCS PAX ROMANA Ghana (Zone 4) and previously led the UDS Tamale chapter.She is committed to health equity and youth empowerment—making an impact across science and society.

Ahmed Abdirisak Nour (Daha) is a purpose-driven leader and youth advocate, proudly serving as Executive Director of the Children and Youth Relief Organization (CYRO). Under his leadership, CYRO grew from a grassroots initiative to a regionally recognized force for change across Ethiopia’s Somali Region, mobilizing over 50 volunteers across 11 zones and forming strategic partnerships with national and international actors such as Conciliation Resources and CEHRO.
One of his proudest achievements is establishing Youth Peace Circles—a model that equips young people in border conflict zones to become peace ambassadors and conflict resolution leaders. Beyond organizational leadership, he serves as an IEP Ambassador, is a certified graduate of the Africa Peacebuilding Institute, and an alumnus of the ALX Professional Foundations Program.
Every initiative he leads is deeply personal. He carries the memory of his father, Cabdirisaaq Nur Ciise, who was tortured and killed for speaking truth to power. His courage drives him, and his legacy lives on in his fight for justice. He is here to build, to lead, and to leave a mark—loudly, proudly, and unapologetically.

Ajibike Abdulbasit Abiodun graduated top of his class in Agricultural Economics at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (CGPA 4.76/5.00). A passionate advocate for sustainable food systems, he gained over seven months of hands-on hydroponics experience by volunteering during academic breaks.
His academic excellence earned him the Federal Scholarship Board National Award (2022) and the Indorama Eleme Fertiliser Award for Academic Excellence (2023). He is an alumnus of the West African Vocational Education (WAVE) Academy and a 2023 fellow of Harvard Business School’s Aspire Leadership Program. As Convener of the University Scholars’ Forum, he organized 12 high-impact webinars on scholarships and led the largest scholar colloquium in Nigeria on “Transforming Scholarships to Leadership.”
He taught marketable skills to 50 out-of-school children through Project Skills4All and sits on UNICEF Nigeria’s Generation Unlimited Action Team (2025). He volunteers with Metale-Care Foundation and Awareness 360, remains committed to sustainable food systems, and was a virtual delegate at the World Bank Group Youth Summit 2025.

Aude Karelle Lekaboth is a Cameroonian chemical engineer who champions women and girls in STEM. A graduate of the University of Bologna, Italy, she brings five years of experience across petroleum and IT industries. As a certified personal development coach with the John Maxwell Team and strategic planner for the Melton Foundation, she cultivates female leadership and scientific excellence.
In 2023, she founded LES GO SCIENCENT to support women in STEM and organized Cameroon’s first Forum of Women in STEM. Her mission is to translate research into actionable innovation for gender equity and national development.

Blessing Egbe is a social entrepreneur, researcher, and women’s empowerment advocate from Nigeria. She studied Economics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and serves as Partnership Manager at RAJ Foundation, leading impact initiatives for vulnerable women and girls.
As founder of Smait Maven—a branding and digital marketing agency—she deploys AI-powered tools to help individuals and businesses build strong brands. To tackle youth unemployment, she created DreamJob with BE, a skills-training program that prepares job seekers for meaningful opportunities.
Her research focuses on AI ethics in Africa, exploring frameworks for responsible and inclusive use of artificial intelligence across the continent.

Cheh Valerie Tamukong is a Cameroonian changemaker driving transformation in education, technology, and youth empowerment. As Executive Director of REACH BACK, he has implemented child protection programs, established temporary learning spaces, and promoted environmental sustainability in conflict-affected communities.
A Computer Science and ICT teacher, he also serves as a GCE examiner and Staff Socials President at GHS Buea, leading 135 educators. He is CEO of ROTO ENTERPRISE and Managing Director of ROVOTECHTIN, redefining vocational education and delivering 21st-century skills to youth.
Recognized with national awards and commendation from the South West Region’s Governor, he is committed to building leaders and legacies at the grassroots.

Chidinma Esther Douglas-Chukwu is a Chevening Scholar and human-rights advocate with an LLM in International Development Law and Human Rights from the University of Warwick, UK. She holds a BA in International Studies and Diplomacy and has led projects spanning health, education, and women’s empowerment.
She founded Nma Books, an Afro-print journal brand, and served as a Young Female Leader with the Amazon Leadership Initiative. She has mobilized gender equality campaigns with GirlLEAD, partnered with UNFPA, and raised digital-education funds for young girls in Nigeria.
She envisions a world where no girl is left behind and believes collaborative action is central to achieving the SDGs.

Comfort Daniel is a clinical psychologist and education and mental-health advocate. As a UNICEF Nigeria Young Influencer, she founded It’s PAGE, a youth-led community supporting over 500 students across 12 universities with career growth and wellness resources.
She serves as Secretary of the Internet Society’s Education SIG and is a member of the Lagos State Governor’s Special Adviser technical team. Named among the Top 50 African Women in Development, she combines policy insight with empathy to amplify student well-being and educational access.

Consolata Diboya Ogom is an agricultural economist with a BSc from the University of Nairobi. She focuses on climate-smart agriculture, food security, and rural resilience.
She has led cross-cultural training programs, coordinated sustainable farming projects, and partnered with local communities to implement resource-efficient solutions. Her work bridges scientific knowledge with grassroots impact to uplift livelihoods in vulnerable regions.

Cynthia Uwayesu is a bioorganic chemist and emerging leader committed to sustainability and scientific innovation. Her research project on microbial distribution along Nyabugogo River demonstrated how microorganisms can serve as bioindicators for environmental change.
She applies laboratory insights to real-world challenges and seeks to collaborate with fellow changemakers to deliver sustainable impact across Africa.

Danayt Tariku is a Civil Engineering graduate from Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, passionate about innovation and leadership. Her career began as a Site Acquisition Specialist at Adrian Group Limited, Ethiopia, and she advanced to Assistant Highway Engineer at IFH Engineering Plc, contributing to the rehabilitation of Bole International Airport.
She is currently in her final year of a Master’s in Project Management, blending technical expertise with strategic execution. As an Impact Fund winner recognized by the African Women’s Leadership Forum, she leads complex projects centered on stakeholder engagement and servant leadership.
Her research explores the relationship between stakeholder engagement and project success, with servant leadership as a moderating factor. Backed by two years of project management internships, executive assistant experience, and certifications in AI-enhanced project management, she is equipped to spearhead youth-driven innovations.

Daniel Adakole Omajali is a dynamic IT specialist, full-stack developer, business manager, and analyst. With a Bachelor’s in Banking and Finance and an MBA from the University of Abuja Business School, he combines financial acumen with technological prowess to deliver impactful solutions.
He led the IT setup for the Dr. W.F. Kumuyi Resource Library in 2022, developing its e-library platform that attracted over 15,000 visitors from 90+ countries in three months. As Founder and Director of Alvahtek Ltd and Country Coordinator at Otukpo Tech Academy, he empowers students with programming skills. He also co-founded Techworkinghub (a virtual tech academy) and Agriconn (a tech-driven agricultural firm).
A digital-literacy advocate, he has trained 200+ students and professionals, developed Edutelligent software to integrate technology into education, and holds certifications as an IBM Cybersecurity Analyst and in Project & Business Management from HACELAT.

David Aruma is a Personal Development Trainer and Coach from Uganda with over seven years of experience igniting lasting transformation. He has helped 10,000+ individuals and 1,500+ teams move from awareness to aligned action through coaching, facilitation, and life-alignment strategies.
As an Inner Development Goals (IDG) Trainer, he leads growth-centered programs empowering communities and changemakers to unlock clarity and purpose.

Divine Chukwubuihem is a multidisciplinary architect and design strategist, serving as the founder-representative of The Legacy Initiative—a transgenerational design community rooted in storytelling, Africanfuturism, God-creativity, and sustainable innovation.
His work spans architecture, systems thinking, and design strategy, guided by a vision to meet humanity’s physical, spiritual, and environmental needs. He also explores music, culinary arts, literature, and cinema, believing that cross-pollination of creative disciplines enhances them all. Through The Legacy Initiative, he mentors emerging designers and collaborates on projects that unite cultural heritage with modern innovation.

Khairatul Saidu is a Nigerian human-rights advocate and founder of the Khairatul Saidu Foundation (KSF), which supports wrongfully imprisoned individuals with legal aid and vocational training.
She is CEO of Paragon Epicurean Real Estate and Hospitality, where she promotes eco-friendly housing solutions. Recognized with the Princess Diana International Award and the Pan-African Humanitarian Award, she champions sustainable development, legal equity, and women’s leadership across Africa.

Precious Agudozie is an award-winning dentist, cultural food entrepreneur, and storytelling strategist. She graduated second in her dental class and has emerged as a dynamic public speaker, debate champion, and summit organizer.
She founded OFE’MMA, an online Igbo soup brand that transforms cultural heritage into a thriving business. She has authored faith-based works, supported health-tech startups, and volunteered extensively—while maintaining a thriving dental practice. Recognized for blending scientific discipline with cultural flair, she bridges tradition with technology and faith with execution. She doesn’t just wear many hats—she crafts them into crowns.

Emeka Goodness Oluchi graduated in 2024 from the Public Health Department at Abia State University and served as the first female president of her department and faculty director of health.
She led health awareness campaigns that reached over 5,000 students and community members, partnered with local organizations to support underserved populations, and promoted inclusivity across campus.
A passionate youth advocate, she volunteers with NGOs on projects related to education, disease prevention, and community development. Her mission is to collaborate with changemakers to build a healthier, more equitable future.

Enoch Oluwasanmi Ajewole is a first-class graduate in Cell Biology and Genetics with deep passion for genomics and computational tools aimed at solving rare diseases in Africa.
He possesses strong communication and writing skills, which have earned him honors in global essay contests, including finalist status in the 2024 WIPO Essay Competition and winner of the 2023 Emeraldscape Essay Competition. With his foundation in genetics and record of thought leadership, he seeks to contribute to transformative research in healthcare and aims to lead innovations that convert discoveries into real-world impact.

Eseosa Iyagbaye is a pharmacist, global health advocate, and executive changemaker. As Founder of Chronic Diseases Made for Africa (CDMA) and CEO of Auxichron Health, she pioneers outreach and digital long-term care solutions for noncommunicable diseases.
A One Young World Ambassador, AstraZeneca Scholar, and ONE Champion, she was also a finalist in the BeChangeMaker Africa 2021 competition. Her work blends inclusive innovation with equitable care for underserved communities.

Elvis Etso is a first-class graduate in Food Science and Technology and currently serves as Chief Operations & Strategy Officer at Onoseke-vwe Agro Ventures Ltd.
He drives strategic growth across the agribusiness value chain—from farms and feed mills to agro-input outlets and food processing. Under his leadership, OAVL has expanded its reach, boosted revenue, and impacted over 30,000 farmers with high-quality inputs and innovative support systems.
Through the OAVL Community project, he empowers rural farmers with vital information and market access. Certified by institutions such as Lagos Business School, CEIBS, PwC, and the University of Potsdam, he blends elite training with visionary execution to secure Africa’s food future.

Etoe Ruddy Carine Tchuekam is an Advocate-in-Training with the Cameroon Bar Association, practicing at The Achundoh Law Firm. She specializes in corporate law, intellectual property, and digital law, and holds a Master’s in Business Law from the University of Yaoundé II.
She leads the Legal Compliance and Business Empowerment Initiative, equipping small businesses with legal knowledge, compliance tools, and mentorship to operate sustainably. Her certifications include the Mini MBA in Business Problem Solving and Leadership from the Africa Foresight Group, and she is a 2025 YIL Fellow.
Beyond legal practice, she advocates for sexual and reproductive health rights, access to justice, and human rights defenders. As the Public Relations Officer and Social Media Specialist for YALDA Cameroon, she inspires and mobilizes youth across the continent toward inclusive growth and innovation.

Fasiku Oluwole Bernard holds an MSc in Physics and a certificate in Research Writing. He is deeply passionate about innovation, emerging technologies, and applying AI tools to solve real-world problems.
His interests lie at the intersection of science, technology, and creativity. He enjoys exploring new ideas, working across disciplines, and transforming research into practical impact.
Continuously learning and ever-curious, he aspires to drive breakthroughs that expand possibilities and improve lives.

Fernando Manuel de Moura Leite Alface Garcia is an agribusiness consultant and agronomist based in Angola. He holds a degree in Agronomy from UJES and is certified CAPM (PMI), with training in predictive project management, food technology, and beekeeping.
As Founding Partner of Flor do Alface – Comércio Geral e Prestação de Serviços, Lda, he has led strategic initiatives supporting smallholder farmers and agricultural cooperatives. Under the World Bank–funded PDAC project, he developed and implemented over 30 business plans.
He has piloted high-yield crop models, such as sweet potato farms achieving over 17 tons/ha, and supported sustainable farming on 30+ hectares in Ndala Cachibo. His work integrates SCRUM, Excel, and KoboCollect to deliver data-driven solutions for food security and resilience.

Hafsat Shuaibu Iliyas is a veterinarian and entrepreneur with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ahmadu Bello University. She led community-focused initiatives as MSSN chapter executive and group leader on campus.
She founded Hanan Imam’s Flossy Confectioneries, combining veterinary knowledge with culinary innovation to create purpose-driven ventures. Passionate about animal welfare and youth development, she leverages leadership and service to drive positive change.

Ibrahim Murtala Muhammad is the Chief Operating Officer of DAALITech and a key figure in Bauchi State’s digital transformation. He leads the Federal Government’s 3 MTT initiative, which trains millions of youth in digital skills.
He builds tech communities, promotes inclusion, and mentors aspiring innovators. His storytelling and advocacy connect grassroots ambition with global tech standards, fueling Nigeria’s digital revolution.

Ibrahim Rushdi Abiodun is a public-health advocate and award-winning educator with an MSc in Healthcare Management and a PGDE. At Rolan Educational and Health Foundation, he develops impactful campaigns and youth empowerment programs.
His work includes service as a WHO immunization officer, creation of inclusive science curricula, and launch of the Young Farmers Club. Honored by the Kwara State Ministry of Education, he leverages practical training and evidence-based interventions to drive change.

Isaac Olugbenga is a surveyor, business consultant, and real estate entrepreneur. A graduate of the Federal School of Surveying, he leads Vineyard Gardens, a thriving real estate firm.
Winner of the 2024 WIPO Essay Competition and ambassador for both WIPO and the Nigerian Copyright Commission, he holds certifications from McKinsey & Company and AFG Ahead. A certified ALX virtual assistant, he champions IP rights, business innovation, and digital agility.

Isah Daniel Ugbede is a physics graduate and Network & Systems Performance Analyst at IHS Towers, a leading telecom infrastructure provider in Africa. He gained research experience at Nigerian Communication Satellite Ltd., exploring sustainable applications of space technologies.
As the founder of Liftoff Africa, he advocates for Space-STEM education and teaches practical science to young Africans. He also serves as a Space Foundation Teacher Liaison and is active in the Space Generation Advisory Council, championing space innovation for sustainable development.

Izundu Chinonso Emmanuel is a final-year law student at the University of Port Harcourt and a passionate intellectual property advocate. He presides over the university’s IP Law Club and has four years of experience in software development.
He has published articles in The Student Lawyer and The Nigeria Lawyer, focusing on IP, sustainable fashion, and food security. As Head of Chambers at Legal Alliance and an SUG Judge, he demonstrates leadership both inside and beyond the courtroom. A 2024 UPG Champion and Plant Variety Protection Boot Camp alumnus, he is committed to fusing law and technology to empower African innovators.

Jackline Boateng holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Ghana and an MPhil in Food Science and Technology from the CSIR – College of Science and Technology.
She has cultivated a strong interest in food value addition and nutrition, aiming to contribute to Ghana’s food security through science-based innovation and agribusiness.
Her ambition is to apply technical expertise within the food industry, advancing value chains and sustainable production.

Jescah Anekeya is a dedicated research enthusiast and University of Nairobi graduate with a BSc in Microbiology and Biotechnology. She applied her research skills at the Kenya Medical Research Institute’s Center for Microbiology Research, contributing to projects such as the food handlers’ public health study. As a research assistant on Upwork, she partners with a global network to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
Committed to humanitarian service, she has served with the Kenya Red Cross—University of Nairobi Chapter and is certified as a First Aider. As co-founder of Stellar Quest Academy, she promotes environmental consciousness and sustainable practices while empowering learners through science education. Her work bridges academic excellence with civic engagement.

Jessica Ortserga is a seasoned development practitioner with a passion for sustainable and impact-driven growth. She holds an advanced degree in Economics, specializing in Development Economics.
With over seven years of experience in assessing, monitoring, and evaluating multi-sector projects for INGOs, NGOs, and government agencies, she specializes in gender-focused initiatives, education, economic empowerment, and child development
.
She founded GAP—an initiative addressing inefficiencies in development efforts by championing innovative approaches aligned with the SDGs, especially those targeting gender equality, zero hunger, economic growth, and quality education.

Kago Oteng Dikoko is a social innovator and co-founder of DeedBox, a micro-volunteering and CSR platform that bridges communities through impact-driven actions. With a background in Software Engineering and over five years in telecommunications, he harnesses technology to power social development.
He has led youth mentorship programs, built digital tools for grassroots communities, and participated in international fellowships focused on social justice and innovation. He believes in technology as a vehicle for inclusive progress and community transformation.

Komlan Timothée Tchangai is a Development Sociologist and Program Director from Togo. He holds a Master’s in Sociology of Development from the University of Lomé and leads community-driven initiatives addressing gender inequality, climate resilience, and youth empowerment.As a leader at ONG ALAFIA, he directed strategic operations across several national projects—including child marriage eradication, socio-economic development for youth and women, and nutrition education campaigns for girls.
A former Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and Project Coordinator, he emphasizes data-backed decisions and inclusive governance. His commitment lies in scaling innovative, community-led solutions that promote social equity.

Laban Abas Mapabha is a Tanzanian teacher and lawyer who integrates civic education and environmental advocacy to uplift communities. As co-founder of Inside Community Foundation, he has planted over 10,000 trees in vulnerable schools and led legal campaigns on land, probate, and marital rights.
His work has been shared internationally through Scribd and Tanzanian high commissions.

Laura Namara is a finance specialist with over five years in capital markets and government securities. A graduate of Makerere University Business School, she has hosted sector-focused conferences and delivered personal finance training.
She also leads youth mentorship and upskilling programs that support the transition from education to employment.

Lucy Akinyi Jobita is a liberal thinker and global justice advocate with a background in International Studies. She has led youth-engagement, leadership, and governance programs that empower young people to shape policy and contribute to national progress.
Her work includes policy advocacy, research, and community-centered interventions targeting youth peace, security, and work readiness. Skilled in partnership-building and evidence-based strategy, she drives inclusive development with vision and empathy.

Musila Muoki is the Founder and Programs Director at Liberty Sparks Kenya and Editor of its East Africa blog. Holding a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Economics with IT from Maseno University, he brings six years of thought leadership in African free-market advocacy.
He specializes in international trade, regional integration, and policy research through frameworks such as the AfCFTA and EAC. His insights have been featured in top-tier media outlets, fueling dialogue around Africa’s economic unity and mobility.

Namiru Lawal is a physics graduate who transitioned into AI and sustainability through a Professional Diploma in Data Science from the African University of Science and Technology.
He holds certifications from NITDA, NVIDIA, and UNSSC, and serves as a Deep Learning Fellow at Arewa Data Science Academy. He co-developed a climate-smart agriculture software that earned $5,000 in funding and co-leads the EU-funded North Climate Literacy Project for adolescent climate action in Northern Nigeria.

Mercylyn Njeri Irungu is a passionate changemaker dedicated to advancing the rights of women and children through advocacy, strategic engagement and impactful initiatives. She currently serves in the Fundraising and Development, as well as Public Affairs Department at the Alliance For Women and Girls, a network of gender focused organizations across Africa.
She is also committed to gender equity through a co-founded initiative, Beyond Borders-For Her aimed at addressing period poverty and economic inclusion for women and girls in Mathare, Nairobi. The initiative provides training in skills such as tailoring and empowering women with sustainable solutions for economic independence. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and applies her legal expertise to bridge policy and communication. In a previous role as a Campus Director for the Hult Prize, she successfully launched and managed initiatives that empowered young innovators to develop solutions to global challenges. Njeri is dedicated to fostering inclusion, amplifying the voices of young women, and driving systemic change in Africa.

Nwogha Chinedu Moses is a Nigerian lawyer and founder of CMN–Practical Law Training Unit, bridging the gap between theory and practice for law students nationwide.
He has served as Corps Camp Director for NYSC Oyo State, Law Clinic Coach, and leader of multiple student associations. A climate advocate and delegate at the Youth4Adaptation Conference, he combines legal education, competition hosting, and policy workshops to champion community resilience and transformative youth leadership.

Odo Stephanie Ugonne is a linguist and customer service executive at Zenith Bank, recognized for her clarity and compassion in fast-paced environments.
She is passionate about inclusive communication and supports children with speech disorders. Outside of work, she is advancing in French language studies and raising awareness about speech empowerment.

Okai Nelson Aaron is a business management professional with over six years of leadership in transport operations, logistics, and administration.
He demonstrates excellence in team building and operational strategy, driving results across industries and empowering youth through structured entrepreneurship.

Olaibi David Obaoye is a cybersecurity graduate with First-Class honors, passionate about entrepreneurial resilience and digital safety. He launched quick-access capital funds to support small businesses in sustaining and scaling operations.
As a community manager for studentpreneurs, he mentors aspiring founders in building secure, scalable ventures. His expertise bridges cybersecurity principles with business innovation, empowering startups to thrive in a tech-driven ecosystem.

Raymond James Ntabazi is a Ugandan environmental engineer, sustainability strategist, and data analyst. As Zero Waste Coordinator at GAYO and leader of TakaNiAjira Foundation, he promotes circular economy and Extended Producer Responsibility.
With contributions to Zero Waste Academy and grassroots policy platforms, he is forging a sustainable future for Africa.

Rhoda Muthoni Karanja is a financial strategist and Certified Public Accountant with a BSc in Economics and Statistics from Chuka University. She manages finance at a leading real-estate firm while promoting inclusive education and youth empowerment.
Her journey includes leadership training with Akili Dada, mentoring marginalized youth, and pushing for systemic reform aligned with SDGs 1, 4, and 8. She envisions a future where financial literacy becomes a tool for equity and transformation.

Umar-Faruq Amori is a development strategist with three years of experience directing social-impact projects that reached over 2,000 youth. As Organizing Secretary of the University Scholars’ Forum and Community Director of the University SDG Club, he built sustainable pathways linking education to national development.
Recognized among the top 20 most impactful graduating students, he creates value for underserved communities through partnerships and youth-centered innovation.

Victoria Ajiboye is an Executive Assistant and tech-innovation leader with a background in Computer Science and Engineering. She co-leads Product School Africa, where she fosters design thinking and product excellence among emerging African builders.
She represented Nigeria at the Huawei ICT Competition in China and co-developed a farm-to-consumer platform that reduces food costs. As Volunteer Lead for 3 MTT Akwa Ibom, she advocates digital inclusion. Through Virtuous Creations Network, she empowers women to reclaim their voice, purpose, and agency.

Yemisi Ayorinde is a First-Class Accounting graduate and Chartered Accountant (ICAN, AATWA). As Business Performance Analyst at First HoldCo Plc, she focuses on strategic planning, budget management, and data-driven decision-making.
She founded the Shay Leadership Initiative to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world leadership through mentorship and summits. Her work energizes the next generation to lead with excellence, curiosity, and courage.

Youstina Raafat Roshdy Rizkallah is a cosmetics formulator and entrepreneur committed to eco-conscious beauty. She founded a brand featuring 30 handmade products, transforming resource constraints into creativity and purpose.
She manages product development, branding, sales, and marketing as a one-woman powerhouse. Guided by the motto “Sky is the limit,” she channels introspection into resilience, and sustainability into global ambition.
Her goal is to scale her brand, educate through webinars, and craft a legacy that reflects empowerment and environmental stewardship.

Yusuf Ahmed Elmi is a veterinarian and epidemiologist with a DVM and Master’s in Veterinary Epidemiology. His research explores toxic plants affecting small ruminants and supports sustainable animal health systems in underserved regions.
He has trained field workers and led rural studies to strengthen community-based veterinary services. As a 2025 YIL Fellow, he aims to scale animal health and outreach across the Horn of Africa.
